2018 Induction Banquet
UPDATE – The 2018 Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Friday, November 9th at the Indiana National Guard Armory in Lawrence, IN located at 9920 East 59th Street. The evenings events are as follows: 5:00 – 6:00 Social Hour, 6:00 – 7:00 Dinner, 7:00 – 9:00 Ceremony. Tickets will be available for purchase after August 1st.
It is the goal of the IMVHOF for each inductee to be afforded due honor and respect for their sacrifices and services to the nation during the induction banquet and ceremony. Tickets, when on sale, will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. Additionally, no table purchase options will be available. With the exception of reserved seats for inductees, their guest and dignitaries all seating will be open seating. If you have a group you would like to keep together, we encourage you to have someone arrive early and hold a table for your group.
Hall of Fame Memorial Grand Opening
The Board of Directors of the Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame invites you to attend the grand opening of the Hall of Fame Memorial. It will be held on Thursday – April 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Indiana Department of the American Legion at 5360 Herbert Lord Road in Lawrence, IN on the former Fort Benjamin Harrison. This will be a historic day for Indiana’s veterans as we commemorate this building where the selfless sacrifices of our Hoosier veterans will be forever honored and memorialized.
IMVHOF inducted its first class of Hoosier heroes on November 7, 2014. During the ceremony each inductee receives the Hall of Fame medallion and certificate.
Up to fifteen Indiana military veterans may be inducted each year.
- Of the fifteen, up to ten may be selected exclusively for their valorous military service.
- Of the fifteen, up to five may be selected for their combined military/civilian service.
About the Medallion
The medallion represents the IMVHOF and its relationship to the State of Indiana. The front depicts the State of Indiana and the name of the organization. The back depicts the Indiana state flag on which the inductee’s name is engraved encircled by the names of the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.
